AirFlow ACTIVE-X Technology


 
  1. AirFlow's washcoat material has proven to have ideal characteristics for the low exhaust temperatures of diesel engines.  Low temperature conversion capability provides the user an opportunity to reduce precious metal loadings (PGM), thus decreasing overall system cost.  The AirFlow washcoat is thermally stable over a wide temperature range for use also in catalyzed diesel particulate filter (CDPF) applications. 
  2. Bench and full run engine testing has been performed by third parties with consistent performance in all tests.
  3. Low Temperature performance has been achieved through a proprietary chemical formulation.  The AirFlow material does not contain vanadium or any other toxic chemicals. 
  4. The AirFlow material is "coater friendly" and can be applied to metallic, ceramic or sponge substrates without the need for any additional process equipment.

Diesel Applications - Active-X washcoat material is useful across a wide range of diesel catalyst applications.  As a low temperature catalyst support material, Active-X provides low temperature light off, reduced requirement for precious metal loadings, and a material that is thermally stable over a wide temperature range.  Active-X is designed to coat substrates for conventional diesel catalytic converters and is also suitable for catalyzed diesel particulate filter (CDPF) applications. 

VOC Applications -
